Descent into the Maelstrom plot

Sydney, Australia. In 1974, a group of misfits form the rock 'n' roll band Radio Birdman with the aim of making music without compromise. Over the years, the band has stopped, started again and been banned from different places several times because they are determined to do things their own way. As a result, the band has gradually acquired a cult status. This documentary tells the story from the origin of Radio Birdman to the present and contains, in addition to interviews with all living band members, also rare archive material.
