Des Billes, des Ballons et des Garçons plot

For many children, childhood is more of a nightmare than a playground. 180 million children work, 2 million children have died in war and violence, 6 million were injured and 1 million were orphaned. 100 million children will never go to school and 500 million live on less than a euro a day. What happens to young people who grow up in a society full of cruelty and injustice and who are victims of slavery, violence, sexual abuse and human stupidity? Will they become the next generation of rapists and murderers? In this documentary, young people tell their own story about the hard life, but also talk about their dreams and aspirations.
