Derrière les Volets plot

At Raverdy's empty coffee chicory factory, the doors remain closed, as does everything around it. The director, herself from the Raverdy family and expecting her first child, goes in search of the stories behind this closed part of the city. She moves in with her 91-year-old grandmother who lives across the street. Through old photos, advertising brochures, myths, language games, conversations with her grandmother and former female factory workers, she can trace the events before the closure bit by bit.
