“Del Olvido al No Me Acuerdo” is a portrait of the Mexican writer Juan Rulfo, who lived from 1918 to 1986. The focus is not so much on the writer and his work, but on the human being Juan Rulfo, seen through the eyes of those who have known. They are old men and women who, sitting on a bench in front of their house, or walking in the dry and desolate Mexican landscape, reminisce about the past. A woman searches a city for the exact spot where, as a young girl, she fell head over heels for Rulfo's charms. A man tells about the place where Rulfo often stayed, but there is not much to tell; the memories have faded, details have disappeared...
