De Wolkenfabriek plot

Everything changes, always – and that also applies to the Port of Amsterdam. In 2019, the government decided to shut down the coal-fired power plant as part of the energy transition. This meant the disappearance of the chimney of Hemweg 8, a landmark on the Amsterdam skyline. Over the next six years, filmmaker Digna Sinke closely followed this process.
