De Witte Vlucht plot

The Neerbosch-Oost district in Nijmegen is isolated in the city, enclosed by busy roads and a canal. Primary school Het Octaaf makes every effort to be there for all children in this neighbourhood, which has 25 different nationalities. Highly educated parents who live in the neighborhood, however, ignore school. Every morning a procession of parents cycles across a busy road to take their children to a school outside the neighbourhood. Roger, the newly appointed director of Het Octaaf, is determined to change that with his team, but what does it take? Reality is complex and unruly.
