De Onplaatsbaren plot

Structure, salary and colleagues: that is what a number of Rotterdam addicts and ex-addicts think in their work as dirt pickers. They entertain their colleagues with all kinds of stories and provide each other with sedatives, or "something that calms you down". Because when you are nice and calm, time also goes faster. Much of what they find on the street is given a new lease on life with them, whether it's a rolled joint or the tobacco from discarded cigarette butts.
