De Nieuwe Elite plot

The Erasmiaans Gymnasium in Rotterdam is the most "black" school in the Netherlands, where almost all gymnasiums are populated by white students. Twenty percent of the students is of non-Western descent. Bartelsman followed several immigrant students during the school year. Some score sky-high marks, others have much more difficulty with the subject matter. However, the school management does everything it can to keep these students in school.
