U Win Tin, 84, is the founder of journalism in civil war-ravaged Myanmar (former Burma). He co-founded the National League for Democracy in 1989 with Aung San Suu Kyi. He was sentenced to eighteen years in prison for this. Today he is mainly a louse in the fur of the opposition.
