De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig plot

It's not that easy, growing up. This also applies to Nina, Othman and Nick. Three young people struggle with aging and the obligations and responsibilities that come with it. The documentary Youth of Today follows them during the summer of 2012. Nina, a young ambitious writer of erotic stories, is going to live in Amsterdam. The Moroccan kickboxer Othman has to go to prison at the end of the summer, because he flew into his supervisor during community service. And 'emo' Nick from Enkhuizen is trying to get his life back on track after being kicked out of the house by his father.
