Documentary about the history of the Den Uyl cabinet between 1973 and 1977. On the basis of interviews with ministers involved at the time, an 'inside' picture is given of one of the most discussed government teams in Dutch parliamentary history. Ministers and faction members from that time talk in front of the camera about the decision-making process in the many crises that the Den Uyl cabinet had to endure.
