A look back at the twenty-four years that General de Gaulle and Georges Pompidou spent side by side, ten of which were during the presidency of France. A picture is sketched on the basis of archive images, unique testimonials and animation videos. Their initially good relationship slowly turns into a power struggle and ends in a tragic rift.
