Janina Pigaht knew her grandfather as a loving man. She has vivid memories of how they sang German songs together and how he read them stories. After his death, now eight years ago, she searches through old diaries and things for stories about Grandpa to hold on to the memory of him. Then a shocking truth emerges: Grandpa was a convinced SS man during World War II.
