D-Day in HD plot

The documentary shows the iconic battle of Normandy with newly discovered color images, many of which have never been seen before. See how more than 5,000 allied ships landed 160,000 soldiers. It shows how the world changed in one week, through personal stories of soldiers on both sides. Three units are highlighted: the American 1st Division on Omaha Beach, the American 507th Paratroopers Division and the German 352nd Division. Allied and German survivors tell first-hand stories of the war that changed the course of the world.
