D'Annunzios Höhle plot

“D'Annunzio's Cave” shows 15 rooms of Villa Cargnacco in Gardone on Lake Garda, where Gabriele d'Annunzio went to live in 1921 until his death. The villa is part of a theme park that he and his personal architect Giancarlo Maroni designed and decorated for almost twenty years. With morbid fascination, the Italian poet's Baroque house is explored, which is so grotesquely decorated you could find it in Orson Welles' nightmares.
