Coups de Foudre plot

Five women tell how their romantic love story developed into an abusive relationship. The young women take turns describing the chronological course of that dramatic fate. How love got more and more cracks, how their husband turned out to be an executioner. Out of shame, out of fear of losing a child, in the hope of getting better, the situation continues. A fixed fact is their unprecedented cruel life partner, who alternates between brutal violence and insane psychological games. One woman ended up in a coma for months after being beaten up by her husband, another was forced into a suicide attempt. A woman tells how she woke up because her husband was shaving her head. The women articulate the atrocities and try to unravel how it came to be that they set aside their dignity out of love and pride. And what does this mean for their future?
