Cosas Que No Hacemos plot
"A secret, many kids, a party, a dead body, silence, voices, laughs, and games. A boy asks his parents for permission to dress as a woman."
The poor Mexican village of El Roblito is located on a peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean and seems to be mainly inhabited by children; most adults work outside the village. Teenager Ñoño may be too old to play with the prepubescent village youth, but he likes to hang out with them. He happily dives into the water with the boys and while swaying his hips, he studies a choreography with the girls. But sometimes, when it's dark, he secludes himself to paint his eyebrows and put on a dress.
