Cornelis Verolme, Scheepsbouwer plot

Documentary about the life and work of self-made industrialist Cornelis Verolme, the shipping magnate who was one of the most influential industrialists in the Netherlands in the 1960s. Roelof Kiers follows the modern entrepreneur at home, in his office, when ships are launched, in his native village Nieuwe Tonge and at an aubade on his birthday. Kiers also speaks candidly with Verolme, who regularly tries to direct the film herself.
