Copeland plot
Stewart Copeland, founder of The Police, laid the foundation for one of the greatest bands in pop history. In 1977, Stewart went looking for musicians for his own songs and met the then-unknown bassist Gordon Sumner—better known as Sting—in a café. With guitarist Andy Summers, the lineup was complete and The Police was born. Following the band's success, Copeland built a career as a composer of film music and once again proved his versatility—quite unlike former bandmate Sting, who continued to score hits worldwide. In the film, Copeland speaks candidly about his life, his music, and the highs and lows of his career.
