This documentary gives an insight into the world of 'color guard', a combination of sports and dance performed in American high schools and universities during the intermission of football games or to brighten up brass band performances. It is a phenomenon where synchronized dancer-performers make artful use of flags, guns and swords. It produces very special performances; at times exuberantly expressionistic, at other times contemplative and restrained.
