The extraordinary story of an unexpected thirty-year friendship between two men who, together, launched the first Russian company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Dr. Dmitry Zimin, once a secret Soviet scientist, grew into an outspoken advocate for scientific freedom and civil rights. Augie Fabela, the son of Mexican immigrants, traveled to Moscow in 1990. There he met Zimin, and together they built a revolutionary tech company. As the threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine grew, the men made one final journey—just before Zimin's planned euthanasia.
