Comrade, Where Are You Today? plot

The 1980s. The Finnish Kirsi Marie Liimatainen flies to East Germany to study the teachings of Marx and Lenin. There she meets young people at the secondary school 'Wilhelm Pieck' in Bogensee near Berlin. It concerns like-minded people from more than eighty countries. Young people united in their hope for a better world. But shortly after the end of the academic year, the Berlin Wall falls in the autumn of 1989 and the GDR will soon be a thing of the past. Today, more than twenty years later, Kirsi goes in search of the comrades of yesteryear.
