Complicit plot

'Complicit' is a film shot out of sight of the authorities about Yi Yeting, a worker who works at a Foxconn factory in China. He tries to tackle his employer as well as the global electronics industry while battling his work-related leukemia at the same time. In preparation for taking legal action against his former employer, Yi Yeting emerges as an activist and learns about employment law. However, the battle to save millions of Chinese from terminal occupational diseases and provide better working conditions seems impossible without confronting some of the world's biggest electronics brands, such as Apple and Samsung. Unfortunately, both big business and the Chinese government benefit from covering up these kinds of scandals.
