Committing Poetry in Times of War plot

When the Iraq War began, Bill Nevins was fired as coach of the Youth Poetry Slam Team at Rio Rancho High School in New Mexico. The outspoken opinion of him and his team was not appreciated. A few days later, hundreds of protesters started a peaceful protest, but this was brutally crushed by the police. This resulted in a protest movement of musicians and poets in the struggle for freedom of opinion.
