Comizi d'Amore plot
Documentary by Pasolini in which he, microphone in hand, takes to the streets to talk about sex with Italians. He asks children where babies come from, women whether they are equal to men, he asks men and women whether a woman's virginity matters and Pasolini also asks questions about homosexuality and marriage. Alberto Moravia, among others, will speak. The film's thesis reads: Despite the skyrocketing post-war economy, the Italian attitude to sex is either rigidly Medieval (among the poor and Southerners) or confused and self-censoring (among the bourgeoisie and Northerners).
