Comedy Warriors: Healing through Humor plot

Five American veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Five disabled, ex-soldiers who tell about the accident that injured them and the period of grief, depression and recovery that followed. But also: five stand-up comedians. Director and producer John Wager and his co-producer Ray Reo are personally involved with the topic as co-founders of Comedy Warriors, a project that helps disabled veterans become stand-upists. All five of them had a tendency to joke about their problems; now they are accompanied by famous stand-up comedians such as Zach Galifianakis, Lewis Black and Bob Saget.
