Come Back, Africa plot
This semi-documentary provides a picture of the era of South Africa in the 1950s, in which the apartheid regime flourished. At the time, the film was made under great time pressure, with non-professional actors and without permission from the authorities. Zachria is a guest worker without a work permit, who is subject to exploitation and arbitrary dismissal, and who can be arrested at any moment.
