Clotilda: Last American Slave Ship plot

The Clotilda was the last known slave ship to arrive in the United States on July 12, 1860 with 110 Africans transported to Alabama as slaves. Once there, Captain Foster ordered the ship to be set on fire. The site of the wreck remained unknown for decades, until it was found at the bottom of the River Mobile in 2019. The wreck was still largely intact. This documentary follows the archaeologists investigating the wreckage.
