Cities on Speed: Mumbai Disconnected plot
In the Indian metropolis of Mumbai, thirteen people die every day on public transport due to the crowds. Moreover, car traffic has grown so fast that the city is stuck during rush hour. The solution to these problems is the construction of an immense suspension bridge off the coast that connects the north and south of the city and should relieve the city of a large part of the traffic jams. But because construction of the bridge has practically come to a standstill due to a lack of money, an alternative plan was devised. Two-storey highways are being built at 96 places in the city to promote traffic flow.
