Ciné-Guerrillas: Scenes from the Labudovic Reels plot

The 'Labudović Reels' are located in a cellar in Belgrade, the capital of the former Yugoslavia. The film reels contain images of African and Asian liberation movements and revolutionary leaders who left their mark on the 1960s. Why is it that the archives of these revolutions are gathering dust in a repository on another continent?
