Churchill's Island plot

Churchill's Island describes the military and civilian elements involved in the Battle of Britain. The Royal Air Force managed to seize control of the airspace in an epic battle with the Luftwaffe, while the Royal Navy controlled the shipping routes around the besieged island. Other aspects of the battle depicted include British coastal defence, the establishment of a mechanized cavalry, the role of the merchant navy, and, following the evacuation of Dunkirk, the rebuilding of a decimated British army.
