Children of the Wind plot

'Children of the Wind' tells the story of a number of windsurfers from Bonaire, a group of native Caribbean children, who, under the leadership of the remarkable Elvis Martinus, were given opportunities not only to dominate the sport but to revolutionize it. In fact, they saved windsurfing and attracted younger participants eager to learn how to freestyle the Bonairean way. The film focuses on the brothers Tonky and Taty Frans and their cousin Kiri, who come from a poor fishing village and start windsurfing before the age of ten. Now, twenty years later, with the help of some discarded equipment, they are global superstars.
