Children of the Revolution plot
The daughters of Ulrike Meinhof (RAF) and Fusako Shigenobu (Japanese Red Army), tell their side of the story. Supported by old news and interview fragments from the sixties, seventies and eighties, an image of their mothers is created. We hear theories about the influence of brain surgery, which may explain Meinhof's crazy behaviour. But also Mother Meinhof's plans to train her children in the Middle East for the revolution and how confusing it is when your classmates want to play 'Baader-Meinhof group' instead of tag. Mei Shigenobu chose journalism and has not had an easy time either. She tries to take a nuanced look at the past.
