Chhattisgarh Sketches plot

In this film, director Jon Jost unleashes his trained video eye on the colorful streets and landscapes of Chhattisgarh, a province in northeastern India. Jost gave workshops to students in Raipur and also made video trips himself that certainly go beyond strolling or sightseeing, but have a lot to do with that. Perhaps it is most like a painter's search for a motif.
