Cells plot

The Belgian-Dutch Martin Uit den Bogaard is one of the world's most renowned bio-artists. His art is controversial to say the least: using electrodes, voltmeters and computers, he converts the energy from dead biological tissue, originating from animals, plants and humans, into images and sound. As a life's work he wants to use his own body as a work of art after his death. Cells challenges the viewer to think about his own mortality and asks us the question whether a body consists only of cells.
