Canim Kreuzberg plot

Documentary about the multicultural diversity in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin. Kiymet Özdemir, Canan Turan's grandmother, came to Kreuzberg for political reasons. The multiple mother was a worker and activist, but now lives back in her homeland, a small village on the Mediterranean coast of Thrace. She used to protest for the rights of Turkish guest workers and against racial discrimination in Germany. A lot has changed compared to the past. The protests are no longer publicly voiced on the street. There is, for example, the ballroom in Naunynstraße, where plays with important issues of daily politics are played. Kreuzberg has changed a lot over the years and Kiymet Özdemir has been a significant part of that.
