Homosexuality in Cameroon has been punishable by up to five years in prison since 1972. This is contrary to the constitution, says human rights lawyer Alice Nkom. She tirelessly stands up for the homosexuals in her country. Based on personal testimonies, the documentary gives a picture of the daily struggle that young gays and lesbians have to face in Cameroon. Muriel explains that her mother has accepted her sexual orientation but will never approve. Elvis talks to his conservative brother who thinks he should get a wife. And the combative Nathalie proudly displays her bar where homosexuals can be themselves.
