Bulb Fiction plot

The European Commission in Brussels banned incandescent light bulbs in September 2009 and required all EU citizens to buy compact fluorescent and mercury-containing energy-saving lamps. Here is shown why these measures - marketed and touted by industry, government officials and non-governmental organizations - as an ideal win-win situation, ultimately prove to be expensive, a health hazard and unsuitable for citizens.
