Brothers in Exile plot
American baseball got a huge boost with the arrival of Cuban players, especially the two half-brothers Livan and Orlando Hernandez. They risked their lives to get off the island. Livan fled first and managed to reach the United States via Mexico. He managed to join the Florida Marlins. Orlando, meanwhile, had been banned from professional Cuban baseball for helping Livan flee. One day he left Cuba in a small boat, stranded on a deserted island, was picked up by the Coast Guard and less than a year later he pitched for the New York Yankees. This documentary tells their incredible story.
