Brief aan Mijn Vader plot

Guzman Alvarez never wanted to talk about his flight through Spain in 1936, during the Spanish Civil War. Guzman was ordered by his mother to accompany his old, deaf father, who was on the fascists' death list. After the war, Guzman Alvarez built up a life in the Netherlands and only returned to his homeland, the Babia region, in the summer. It was not until fifty-five years later that Guzman wrote a letter to his father, who had been dead for fifty years.
