Breaking Walls plot

When Hoi Yi speaks at a conference on press freedom and freedom of expression, he exudes determination. But behind his public struggle lies a personal struggle. As a queer man, he lives between two worlds. From the Netherlands, he openly fights against international censorship, but to his family in China, he is forced to keep his own secret secret. And while he helps Iranian journalists circumvent censorship, his own life is no match for his self-censorship.
