Breakfast in Kisumu plot

Rok Ajulu (1950-2016) was a prominent Kenyan academic and activist, who campaigned, among other things, for the South African struggle against apartheid. In this short documentary, his daughter Rebecca pays tribute to her father. The basis for the film is an intimate conversation between father and daughter, recorded shortly before Ajulu turned out to be terminally ill. He tells about the various wanderings in a life in which he fought for freedom, but was regularly imprisoned or lived in exile.
