Boy Hero 001 plot

For many years, 12-year-old Pavlik Morozov was the heroic example of Russian youth. According to the story, which took on mythical proportions over the years, Pavlik turned his father in to the secret police. Stalin wanted to raise a new generation of children with communism. Pavlik's story served as the most important instrument. He became the immortal hero of the "Russian Pioneers," a Boy Scout movement that put loyalty to the state above family.
