Botero plot

The Colombian painter/sculptor Fernando Botero (Medellín, 1932) trained as a bullfighter in his teens, but he was not talented enough for this. He fared much better painting bullfights: at the age of 19 he already had his first exhibition in Bogota. Over the years, he has developed his own figurative style, which is characterized by his fascination with size and volume. The people and animals he depicts seem very fat, but in fact Botero does nothing more than strongly emphasize some body parts.
