Black against White plot

In one of the southern suburbs of São Paulo, on the border between the favela and the better neighborhoods, there is a football field where white and black meet every year. A white and black friend started it thirty years ago, with the aim of fraternizing. The competition is fodder for stories, legends and jokes for the rest of the year. It's just a game, everyone insists, but director Wagner Morales exposes the prejudices that still play a role under the skin. The 2003 game was won by 'black' after a heated match, after which everyone again celebrated together.
