Bill - Das Absolute Augenmass plot

Filmmaker Erich Schmid paints a portrait of the Swiss architect, artist, painter, graphic artist, and industrial designer Max Bill, who always based his art on a solid foundation. His 'concrete art' was based on mathematical/geometric principles that he mastered during his studies at the Bauhaus in Dessau in the 1920s. At the Bauhaus he studied with Wassily Kandinsky, Oskar Schlemmer and Paul Klee, among others. Max Bill's career is strongly colored by the way in which he has been influenced by artists and in which he in turn has influenced artists.
