Biker Dreams plot

"Every Biker has a Dream..."

No symbol is more connected to the American counterculture than that of the 'easy rider', the modern 'lonesome cowboy' on his Harley Davidson. The motorcyclists, 'bikers' as they are called in America, are a subculture with their own clothing, social codes and language. Not every Harley rider is automatically a real biker: In “Biker Dreams” the viewer gets to know the differences between wannabes, newbies and rubbies. In addition to this sociological perspective, we also follow the romantic entanglements of Martin and his girlfriend Alex who are going on their first motorcycle trip. They travel from their hometown of Seattle via Washington to South Dakota where they participate in the Black Hills Motorcycle Classic. About 150,000 bikers gather here every year...
