Ten years after the attacks of September 11, 2001, Time Magazine looks back on the dramatic events with a large-scale multimedia project. They interviewed high-profile figures from the past decade: rescuers, survivors, the people who led America into the war, and the soldiers who still fight it out. A total of 40 men and women, including former President George W. Bush, news host Tom Brokaw, General David Petraeus and the heroes who were the first to reach Ground Zero. They were interviewed individually, each time with the opening question: where were you on September 11, 2001?
