Beukbergen, de Verbouwing van een Woonwagenkamp plot

The largest caravan center in the Netherlands is located in the middle of the forests of Zeist: Beukbergen. With a history of soil pollution, building without planning permission and illegal trade, the neglected area is not the best neighborhood for many people to live in, so Mayor Koos Janssen is spending no less than 28.5 million euros on a thorough renovation. Ninety caravans will be moved and new houses built, so that it will also become an attractive place to live for non-camp residents.
