Between Shadows and Whispers plot

Miriam Torres was unable to hear or see from the age of seven. She learned to speak as a deafblind person and now, at age 55, she is teaching people with the same disabilities to communicate with others. Based on Miriam's diaries, the film tells the inner journey of a woman in search of memories of the forgotten images and sounds of her childhood, such as her face and that of her mother and the very last image she could see and the very last sound that she could hear in her life.
